Great Blog
Hello, I found your stie via twitter and just wanted to say that you have a fantastic collection of wildlife photos. I also enjoy the way you refer to shooting barn owls as 'chasing'. I can sympathise there! None the less you have some great shots. Keep up the good work

Simon, your website is fabulous, I have spent a lovely hour looking at the birds, and walking. It's impossible which to say I like best because it is all just stunning. I found your site from UKNP, I occasionally post there but am so much an amateur - it is rare. Many thanks, Kim

Workflow
Hi Simon, I managed to arrive here from the "Discussions" on the UKNP site. Many thanks for posting the Workflow process of the hare in your blog, a real big help.
A question if I may, you mention correcting the White Balance, can I ask what the WB on your camera is set to, Auto I'm guessing?
May I also aso ask about how you get back from CS3 to your LR programme? Do you just use "Save" and automatically change the file into a .TIFF. Do you then convert this to a JPEG file from within LR?
Apologies for so many questions, but I do learn a hell of a lot from the photographers on UKNP.
Kind regards
Mike

Owls in Bushy Park
Saw your recent post about photographing tawny owls in Bushy Park. I know it was 7 years ago but can you remember exactly where this was? I live a stones throw from Bushy Park and would love to just see the owls (never mind photograph them). Keep up the interesting blog, I often find I agree with many of your points.

Similarity of our names
In the US there are very few people named "Simon". "Litten" is rarer. My grandfather made up "Litten" on coming to America from Russia before the First World War.
I enjoyed your photos.
